Tumbling

When registering for Tumbling, “A” Classes are recommended for ages 5-9. “B” Classes are recommended for ages 10 and up unless specified by our teachers.

Course Objectives:
Obstacle Courses
Stink Bug-pointed toes
Lunge into handstand- legs straight, pointed toes
Back Rolls
Forward Rolls- knees together, no use of hands to stand up
Lunge into Cartwheel- Straight legs, pointed toes
Bridge- hold for 10 seconds
Back bends- from standing and holding self-up for 10 seconds

Core Strengthening:
Stretching
Tuck Jumps
Straight/Pencil Jumps
Regular Push Ups
Lunges

Requirements: Must have passed off all T1 requirements

Course Objectives:
On cheese mat, stand up from backbend
Handstand controlled to a backbend
Backbend kick over- straight legs, pointed toes
Back roll push to handstand- legs together, pointed toes
Handstand forward roll- legs together pointed toes
Dive Rolls- legs together, pointed toes
One handed cartwheel-straight legs pointed toes
Back walkover-straight legs, pointed toes
Round offs
Running round off with rebound

Tuck Jumps
Handspring Jumps
Regular Push Ups
Lunges
Handstand Push Ups
V ups
